~Uncle Samael's~

Mark stood there, aimlessly throwing light all over the room while Kika did her thing. He had figured that he could toss his trust in her, let himself fall in reliance that she would be there to lead him further.

Quite suddenly, as if she was walking into some sort of magical barrier (which, mind you, she most likely was), Kika's clothes seemed to morph in front of him. Texture animated itself, or appeared from nowhere, or disappeared into the air. She seemed suprised, and Mark felt his stomach drop. Now she was staring at the door oddly and Mark could swear he had felt a cold wind pass.

A small frown crossed her face as she looked thoughtfully at the door, "Hmm... Interesting."

Mark lost concentration and the lights flickered. As soon as he could turn them back on, however, the door was open.

"Oh," he breathed, shining his right hand into the dark room.

[Moni]

~Uncle Samael's(Underground)~

Kika slowly walked into the dark, cavernous room, summoning her own light spell to see better. She turned about in a calm circle, surveying the area. To her right was a row of cots, five in all, with folded blankets and pillows on each of them. To her left sat large, wooden boxes, most likely containing food and medical supplies. A little ways from where she stood was a small firepit, a decent sized cauldron set over it, and at the far end of the room, a small spring of fresh water.
Kika turned back to Mark, lifting one of the crowbars to her shoulder, "Well, shall we get started?"

~Rodlin~

Faena stood and stretched herself fully, walking a little ways from the men as she surveyed the area, "I think it best if we leave before daybreak, it'll give us time to rest.....and a night for me to hunt." She looked over her shoulder at them, "If you don't mind, of course?"

[Joe]

~Rodlin Jupiter~
"Hmm, yeah. That way we won't have to inconvience you." He said turning to Kenchai. "But you're still welcome along for the ride.... Though I'm not sure my ship will fit four people and a dragon... I only have the pilot's and co-pilot's seats and two passenger seats. The dragon MIGHT fit in the hatch... But it'd be uncomfortable.... Unless of course she can breath in space." He told Kenchai.

"We should leave before night falls instead of waiting. We'll get farther, Fae-chan can feed, and we can most likely leave before daybreak." He said to the group. Hideval walked to catch up with Faena. "Surprisingly, you were walking in the right direction." He said smiling.

[Moni]

~Rodlin, Jupiter~

Faena slowly blinked, before a slow, sensual smile spread across her face. She sauntered over to him, her eyes locked onto his the entire time, wrapping her arms around him as she leaned forward and down a bit to touch her forehead to his. "You need rest, my love, and I'm hungry. It would be better for you to take my suggestion, no?" She brushed her lips past his ear, whispering, "Please?"

~Rodlin Jupiter~
Hideval gulped as he looked into Faena's eye and sighed finally... "Fine fine. I'll stay at the Inn until you get back... If you want to hunt awhile just say so." He replied, giving to his vampire lover's sex appeal.

"Just... Don't be TOO long okay. Its not far away, but it is a bit of a walk. Three or five hours."

~Rodlin, Jupiter~

Kenchai followed dully, still on Miremel's back.

<<I'm coming with you, I hope you realize,>> she 'said' assertively through their mind link. I'm using the arrows now because I got sick of coding the colour.

<<Why would I have any objections?>> Kenchai replied with a smirk. <<I just didn't want to insult you by asking you to hide in the cargo bay.>>

<<Psht.>> Mind you, this is not an easy thought for a dragon to get across, but it's the best way to translate it into human words.

Kenchai watched half-interestedly as the vampress wooed the man... As Faena wooed Hideval into her way.

"Let's go, then," he said to both of them. "It'd be useless to stand here and do nothing. Let's check out the ship and make sure Miremel would be comfortable."


~Uncle Samael's (Underground)~

Mark was entirely clueless, and he felt quite useless. He might as well have been as much use as a human flashlight.

He surveyed the room with a cautious eye, letting it rest on the underground spring.

"Someone in this family had a fair grasp around magics," he muttered. "At any rate, what does this help us? Is there something in the boxes?"

[Moni]

~Rodlin, Jupiter~

Faena smiled softly at Hideval, kissing him lightly on the lips and pulling away, turning to walk past the others, "I'll walk with you for a while to see where the ship is before I hunt for my evening meal, unless....Miremel, was it?", she glanced curiously at the dragon before she continued, "If she can tell me of a good area where the wildlife populace is in abundance, then I'll be out of your way."


~Uncle Samael's (Underground)~

Kika nodded in agreement, walking over to the boxes for an attempt to open one, "Aunt Suni was a master when it came to water magic, and the Everflowing Spring is one of her best spells. She said that as long someone of her blood or family of the first and second generation remains alive, then the spell will continue to exist. Last I remembered, besides Juni, Fae-chan, and myself.....I think she had 2 older sisters and a younger bro-AAACK!", she finished with a startled yelp and she landed flat on her butt, coughing as the dust from the box top settled around her. After standing up and dusting herself off awkwardly, she peeked into the container and it's contents, "Looks like these are the medical supplies and things for traveling." She stepped to the side to open another box, fanning away more dust when she was successful, "This one has vaccuumed-packaged and dried food. Let's stock up on what we need and get out of here."

~Rodlin Jupiter~
Hideval cleared his throat after the kiss from Faena, still not quite used to such intimacy in this body.

"Yes, yes, lets get to the ship, shall we?" Hideval said, his voice cracking half way through. I thought I finished puberty... he thought playfully as he began towards the ship.

"I'm sure Miremel would fit." He called back to Kenchai. "Might be a tough flight though."

[Dan, I think]

~Kimoko - Uncle Samael's - Underground~

Mark listened intently to Kika's monologue, snapping back to reality when she fell. He tried to make it to her to offer a hand, but she was already standing.

"Looks like these are the medical supplies and things for traveling." She stepped to the side to open another box, fanning away more dust when she was successful, "This one has vaccuumed-packaged and dried food. Let's stock up on what we need and get out of here."

"Right," Mark replied, throwing everything on a bedsheet to tie up for a sack when it was 'full'.


~Jupiter - Rodlin~

Miremel snarled viciously, flailing her tail.

"She says if you go about a quarter mile south-southeast there's a load of deer," Kenchai translated unabashed.

Miremel growled lowly.

"But she says she senses another person, but don't worry, there are plenty of travellers and campers in these woods. I came across a tent of little boys playing War the other night, so don't hurt anything unless you know what's on the other end of your weapon."

<<No, you foolish human, that's an abnormal force.>>

<<You said the same thing about Joey and Daniel in the tent last week, and I was about to let you set them all ablaze. You worry too much.>>

<<Botch to that. But it's your choice.>>

Kenchai rolled his eyes. "Let's see if we can stuff her into the bay, then."

<<He said there would be room...>>

<<Eh, maybe I'll want to throw in some food too. We'll see.>>

Miremel hissed in dissent but didn't say more. She knew Kenchai was kidding.

~Rodlin~
Hideval nodded at Faena. "We'll come find you after we get Miramel settled in, okay?" He said to Faena with a smile. He began walking towards the ship. "C'mon Ken." He said absentmindedly.

~Forest South of Rodlin~
A ragged man ran through the forest, nearly running into deer and trees as he ran. His heart was beating quickly, and he could tell it wouldn't be long before he transformed. He'd better get as far away from the city as possible.

He tripped and fell in the middle of the dear herd. The were running and scattering all about as the wings began growing out of his back. "Dammit..." He said angrily as the transformation began...

~Kimoko - Uncle Samael's - Underground~

Kika packed as much as she thought she coud carry in the sack. Finding several large canteens in the bottom of the supply box, she filled them up with water from the spring on the far side of the room, calling out when she was done, "I think we have everything we need, Mark. We should hurry back to the others." She glanced down her watch, "We should be able to sneak in a nap for about an hour or so before we head to Vasel to take the ferry to Juxo Island."

~Jupiter - Rodlin~

Faena nodded her thanks to Ken and Miremel, while throwing a lazy wave in Hideval's direction, indicating that she understood, before she walked into the darkening forest, colored black against the blazing twilight sky.

~Forest South of Rodlin~

My, my my~! It's a feast in this forest! I may not need to feed for a few days at this rate, Faena thought estatically as she sniped another deer, jumping down from the tree to drink her fill of the dying animal. Wiping her mouth as she spotted her next target, she paused as she felt a strange surge of power from somewhere nearby. She peered into the forest, spotting what she thought was a figure collasped on the ground. She shrugged, it wasn't powerful enough to cause her any concern, and it was probably on it's last breaths anyway; Faena thought it better to let it die in peace, and turned her eyes back to the unfortunate deer that caught her attention earlier.

[Joe]

~Forest South of Rodlin~
The wings were the first to reveal themselves. They burst out of his back rather cleanly, black as the night. The legs were next to changes, along with his body, absorbing his clothing into his skin, replacing it with dark red fur. His arms were clawed, and his hair grew around his neck, to form a reddish mane. His face now looking like a lion's, his transformation completed when a tail with a barbed end burst out of his rear. With a loud roar, he sniffed the surrounding area.

'Deer... Oh no... a human?' He thought as the beast turned towards Faena. 'No... This scent. A vampire. Oh no... Is he...?' The beast burst forward towards the vampire, with a violent roar, his claws outstretched to claw through her head.

~Forest South of Rodlin~

Faena continued to feast on the wildlife populace, feeding enough to last her a day or two. She wavered in her hunting, her senses picking up the change in aura in the figure she spotted earlier, wincing slightly at the transformation it was going through, until all went silent. She slowly stood, stepping away from the carcass that was currently her meal, and sighed as her fingers brushed against the hilt of her sword. She tilted her head to the side thoughtfully as she heard the roar behind her, waiting until the very last moment to block the beast's attack, using the flat side of her sword to hold him at bay, taking very little effort to do so. "Well, well, well....what do we have here? A playful little creature with the intention of interrupting my evening meal. Don't you know it's improper to intrude on a lady's DINNER?!", as she said the last part, she kicked it in the gut, sending it several feet from her. She readied her stance, a smirk gracing her lips, "Come on, might as well satisfy that playful mood of yours."

~Forest~
'STOP! RUN!' Jevan tried to yell, but he couldn't. He had to admit though, this woman was strong. Even for a vampire.

The beast grabbed a tree, ripping it from its roots, flinging it at Faena, and doing the same with another tree. It roared again before charging after the trees, planning to strike her after she either deflected, or was hit by the trees.

~Forest~

Faena turned her blade and slashed upwards then down, slicing through the trees easily as they fell to the ground with low booms and rumbles. She met the beast head on, dropping down to his eye level to uppercut him into the air, followed by a swift roundhouse kick that sent him crashing back into the earth.
